Hope Bailey

Board of Trustee Member

A Christ follower, Hope is a wife, mother and trained birth Doula. She enjoys spending her time cultivating a legacy with her family and those in the community through life-to-life discipleship. Hope and her family reside in Coronado, California and attend church at First Baptist Coronado. She believes fully in the work and transformative power of her Lord and Savior and it is her desire to share the truth of the gospel with those in her immediate and surrounding community. She and her husband are on staff with Navigators (an international Christian ministry) where they have been called to minister specifically to the men and women of the US Navy. They are active in their church and lead several studies throughout the week. Hope co-leads a bible study for women weekly in her home and has seen much fruit in the last year since its conception. Her and her husband also actively partner with Into the Harvest, a ministry designed to better equip those around them with the tools to be disciples and disciple-makers in the everyday places of life. Hope is deeply passionate about total support for mothers during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum and is actively involved in the San Diego Birth Network where she has participated as a birth doula for the past 5 years. Striving to offer support wherever she can, Hope believes that The Little Bird Project will be a much-needed resource for families of pre-term infants that are often forgotten in the wake of endless treatments and recovery. She believes it will be a beautiful and effective way to bring the compassionate love of Jesus and heartfelt support into the lives of many who are going through the challenges that come with this unique season of life. Hope currently works with The Little Bird Project as a Board of Trustee Member as well as helping to establish new resources for the nonprofit.

Jaime Jacinto

Board of Trustee Member/Counseling Resources

Jaime is a Christ follower with a Master's in Christian Counseling from Regent University. She is a certified Health and Wellness Coach from Light University and currently in the IBCD Care and Discipleship training program for Biblical Counseling and working on her ACBC Certification. She has discipled many young women and has a love for fitness and balanced living.

After surviving an unexpected ICU hospitalization from Septic Shock and collapsed lungs in 2015, Jaime started on the long process of recovery. During this time she struggled to trust God and had moments where her anxiety was overwhelming, but God and her community kept her going. As Jaime saw how the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of her life were all contributing to her anxiety, health, and joy she wanted to figure out what true Christ-centered healing looked like. Jaime still battles anxiety and has physical limitations, along with having Celiac Disease, but she sees how important and freeing it is to not find contentment in her circumstances and to be willing to surrender her whole life to God. She believes that daily surrender allows us to become whole in Christ but it takes a willingness, a pursuit of truth in the bible, and a community to keep you going.

Through her journey, Jaime saw the importance in providing other women a space where they can grow in what it means to persevere for Christ not just in their spiritual walk but mentally and physically. She desires to mentor and equip women to grow in their faith, heal their bodies and renew their minds so they can live more joy-filled lives for Christ. Jaime believes that The Little Bird Project is not only a great resource for mothers of premature babies, but such a practical way to show God’s love and provision to preemie babies. Babies are a gift from God and The Little Bird Project is dedicated to having a community of believers that come alongside to support these precious babies and their families. Jaime is honored to be a part of such a unique and necessary ministry and is excited for the work that is taking place! Jaime currently works with The Little Bird Project as a Board of Trustee Member as well as helping to provide Christian counseling resources to the nonprofit.
